BRIEF

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is a leading nonprofit advocating for post-9/11 veterans. The organization needed to modernize its brand and communications to elevate its impact on critical veteran issues, strengthen its national presence, and amplify the voice of its new CEO to both veterans and key policy audiences.


WHAT I DID

Oversaw a comprehensive rebrand to modernize the organization’s identity and digital presence

Led the overhaul of the website and creative assets to improve reach and usability for veterans and stakeholders

Developed an integrated communications strategy focusing on core veteran issues and priority messaging

Directed earned media, digital strategy, and content development to increase visibility and credibility

Supported media education efforts that elevated the CEO as a recognized thought leader on veteran issues

Amplified messaging through web ads, social media, and stakeholder relations to expand national awareness and advocacy influence
